Why I'm Done With Facebook Pages...

Or how I learned to stop worrying and embrace the fact that everyone is trying screw me out of money. It started out ok actually, a few hundred followers, steadily growing, decent post reach, user interaction, so on and so forth. Then all of a sudden the numbers tank. Nobody sees your posts, no interaction, comments, new followers, a digital waste land... and then the incessant ads started. Well Facebook, after throttling back my traffic and plastering my feed with ads about how I can "Boost my posts" I've finally taken the hint. You took a decent service and made it pretty useless unless you're Coca-Cola. As such I've decided to shut mine down at the end of the month... anyone out there who cares to keep tabs on what I'm doing, here's where you can find me, without the mighty facebook filter, and actually see what I post instead of ads for candy crush and cat videos...

Notebook: Facebook and Other Self-Absorption

I am now the proud proprietor of a Facebook Fan Page... sigh...
I suppose that it was bound to happen sooner or later. A few people suggested it, they thought it was a good idea, I didn't. Eventually I caved, end of story. So go be a fan if you dig my work, or if the whole social networking thing is your bag. It's a good way to keep tabs on what I'm up to. Not to mention that Facebook users apparently, according to the Daily Mail, are insecure, narcissistic and have low self-esteem.
